6 Movies We Can't Wait for in 2015 ►►

Celebs gone goooooood. Yep, there is a year-end list for that, believe it or not.
.
Our friends at DoSomething.org put together this list every year – it’s actually called the “Celebs Gone Good” list – and for the third year in a row, Taylor Swift is at number-1. This isn’t too surprising and this is an accolade to be proud of – go girl – and the site details a few reasons for the decision, including that she had a feminist awakening and the fact that she donated all of the proceeds from the sale of her single “Welcome to New York” to NYC Public Schools. We’ve got some shoutouts to other celebs who made the list – PS, the top 5 stars who “gone good” are women. At 4 is Miley Cyrus. Some of you might be shocked because so much of this girl’s media coverage is outrageous and her name has become synonymous with “twerking” (we really need to move on, right?), but remember that she used her MTV VMA acceptance speech to shed a light on the hardships of homeless youth and raised money for My Friend’s Place thru a Prizeo campaign. Shoutout to Laverne Cox for grabbing the runner up spot since she QUOTE “sparked a national conversation about the transgender movement” then it’s Beyonce at 3 who launced #BeyGOOD campaigns to help get people back to work, restocked clothing donation centers as well as provided counseling, housing, food, medical assistance to the homeless. And at 5 we’ve got Emma Watson – don’t forget about her strongly delivered speech at the UN – One Direction, John Cena, Shonda Rhimes and our fellow YouTube friend, Tyler Oakley, followed by Chriss Pratt rounded out the Top 10. And I want to give a special shoutout to a few celebs who we cover pretty regularly on ClevverNews… these are younger stars who have already realized the importance of helping others. Zendaya grabbed the 14-spot, for her 18th birthday, helping to feed 150 kids from schools in Haiti, Tanzania and the Philippines for an entire year via feedOne… then Demi Lovato kicked off a “Mental Health Listening & Engagement Tour” and don’t forget about how she’s an advocate for LGBT rights, most notably through her “I Don’t Care” music video and finally at number-20, Justin Bieber is there… and DoSomething points out that while he’s had a lot of ups and downs – yes, it’s pretty darn true – well, up or down, the Biebs has indeed granted more than 200 Make-A-Wish Foundation wishes… Alright, post how you’re inspired by this “Celebs Gone Good” list for 2014 and thanks so much for tuning in. I’m Dana Ward… and don’t forget to click over here to see the breakdown of 6 movies we can’t wait to see in 2015. Well, actually, it’s not my list, so hopefully they chose some good movies! K, have a productive day, bye!
