Miley Cyrus stuns on the upcoming cover of Marie Claire while maybe even throwing some shade at Taylor Swifts ‘Bad Blood’
The provocative September cover girl is getting candid about non-conformity, role models, and of course her sexuality… oh and a possible jab at T-Swift.
Marie Claire visited the 22 year-old at her home in the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley, which apparently features an unpretentious, low tech studio decorated with things like polaroides, doodle pads, a bottle of Ciroc vodka, a brian sculpture AND a microphone wrapped in rainbow tape. She’s a big believer in less is more and not having unnecessary excess. She Says: "These big fucking studios other people put in?" talking about some of her colleagues. "You don't need that stuff. All you need is a microphone and a computer."
She also feels the same way about the house she’s remodeling, in which she wants to be simple for her four dogs, pair of cats AND her pig. Cyrus coins her style as “Janky” and points out that it’s not all about the money saying QUOTE: "People in this industry think, I just gotta keep getting more money, and I'm like, What are you getting more money for? You probably couldn't even spend it all in this lifetime. People get more famous, so that they can make their brand more famous, so that they can sell more shit, so that they can make more money. It's a never-ending cycle. Getting more money, having more hits, being the lead in the movie—those things might stimulate you, but they don't make you happy. I've experienced it all already, and I'm telling you firsthand, it doesn't."
When asked about Taylor Swifts ‘Bad Blood’ video she had this to say: "I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns."
Now… I’m not sure Miley’s throwing shade here… I think it’s more like making a point. More about herself then Taylor… Kind of similar to that whole Nicki Taylor incident… Anyways… She also opened about sexism and sexuality saying QUOTE: "There is so much sexism, ageism, you name it. Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he's cool. I do it and I'm a druggie whore."
She’s got a point… And on being herself she says QUOTE: "I don't really stress too much about being out there. There's nothing left to catch me doing. You want to hack my e-mail so you can find my nude pictures? I'll just fucking put them up."
You’ve gotta love Miley, and on that note… The photo shoot is all kinds of rad, and of course since we’re dealing with Miley here… one shot even features her nipples.
