If you haven’t seen The Greatest Showman, you need to see it because it was so good, and the music was incredible. Before this film hit the big screen, many of us had no clue who Keala Settle was, but once we heard her sing the powerful anthem ‘This Is’ Me’, we fell in love. Keala’s co-star introduced her to the eager audience where she performed the song with a full choir behind her.
We can’t imagine the emotions that she must be feeling performing at the Oscars and at one point she definitely got emotional.
The song didn’t win for Best Original Song, but she won on Twitter,
Her co-stars Zendaya and Zac Efron both showed love to her. Zendaya tweeted, “I have sang out, screamed out and done full choreo from the wings...I'm so proud of you @kealasettle YOU KILLED THAT!!!!!!!!!!” While Zac tweeted, “I have no words. @kealasettle you were glorious. #thisisme #oscars There were tons of other tweets talking about the moment when Viola Davis was shown dancing to the song and she was feeling it.
I would like to point out that Viola Davis was dancing so hard that her dress was falling off her right shoulder. That’s how you know the song is good.
