Take a walk on Friday to the Jalan Benteng backstreet and you will be greeted by rows of yellow coloured canopies lining up the entire backstreet  here. It is a special KL City market that caters for the morning and lunch crowd at this heart  of the city. This is indeed a foodie street market that is filled with great choices for everyone. From barbeqyed chicken , fresh fruits to lots of favorite desserts. Take a look around and you may find clothings and other goods too. The best thing about this market is the cool, no-traffic , green surrounding  that flanks the now beautified riverfront. Here you can enjoy your food at the cosy  street benches, watch the sun set , immerse in the crowd or hop on the nearby train stations to go around the city . KL has changed for the better indeed. Remember, it's a Friday only street market !
