There are 78 Malaysians currently trapped in Wuhan following China’s lockdown of the province; Balachandar Subramaniyan, his wife and two kids are among those who can’t leave.
Bala is a PhD candidate at the China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, majoring in the field of geochemistry.
According to Bala, following the lockdown, Wuhan is no longer how it used to be.
With food supplies that would last three more days, the coming days will be filled with uncertainty.
