Malaysian Bar president Steven Thiru says that an ongoing criminal trial is not an excuse for not proceeding with disciplinary action. Thiru was responding to Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar's criticism over EAIC's report, during a Bar Council roundtable discussion on promoting greater police accountability on Wednesday.
