Zahid: Umno open to allowing those who faced disciplinary action to return

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamid said the Umno supreme council and party disciplinary board were always open to the suggestion by delegates to allow for the return of former party members who had faced disciplinary action.

However, Zahid said that for this matter, there is the party constitution and party rules that had to be followed and they would also look at whether those who were suspended or sacked were still loyal to the party.

Zahid pointed to Umno supreme council member Lokman Noor Adam as an example and said that if they are really party men, they won't make noise and critcise the party from the outside.
