Incumbent Damansara MP Tony Pua has announced his decision to sit out of the forthcoming 15th general election, while at the same time pledging to continue assisting the party.
He made the announcement during a Damansara DAP fundraising dinner held tonight.
When DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke thanked Pua in his speech later, a man questioned "Why?" and said that Pua was an asset to DAP.
