Bank Simpan Nasional must get tough with its loan defaulters and stop the practice of writing off bad debts, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. BSN has the highest non-performing loans in the banking industry compared with other commercial banks. The standard rate of NPLs in the banking industry had been about 1.2% compared with the BSN’s NPLs which was between 2.1% and 2.3%
