Time to break in my newly built Toyota Land Cruiser (a 1/10th scale super scale trail crawler), from RC4WD. I have just completed this build, and figured I should push the truck to see how the LONG Wheel Base (LWB) version of the Trail Finder 2 fairs on this very tough rock course. Lot's of Dips, Valley's, jagged hang up points, and terrible roll spots await me on this journey. I would like to mention that this truck is a completely stock kit. The ATV, of course - is a separate accessory.. haha :) Taking this course very slow is the key to my success today, as this Radio Control Hobby truck is a "hard body" which makes it more top heavy that a thin, lexan body. Also, with the ATV on the back, I am certainly risking disaster. Regardless, I want to see what this truck can handle - and overall - I think the viewers will enjoy this fill to the fullest!
My other purpose in making this film is to better help scale enthusiasts with some scale driving tips and tricks. If you can better understand the capabilities of these tiny trucks, you can certainly become a better driver Im no pro, but I can say that practice and repetition can help you in your quest to become a pro driver!
A lot of people ask me "where can I get the things to build a truck", so I have compiled a list of everything you would need and have links for you - including my hex driver full of useful, strong bits for my drill.
