TRYING MORE INDONESIAN SNACKS
When I visited Jakarta last month I tried a lot of different Indonesian snacks. They were all AWESOME!!
So since I am back in Indonesia in Padang, West Sumatra I decided to try some more. There are really an unlimited amount of excellent snacks in Indonesia so I had plenty to choose from.
First I tried Yupi Sour O Ringo. They were really nice and the exact type of snack that I enjoy. Sour and sugary.
Then I tried Chic Choc from Delfi. These were one of my favourite ones that I tried. They remind me of Maltesers which is a sweet I used to eat when I lived in the UK. These have a slightly crunchier middle but still a nice soft chocolate on the outside.
I tried Garuda Kacang Atom after this and these were really cool. They were a nut that were covered in a crunchy, salty shell. Very moreish.
Then I tried ZuperrrKeju which is a cheese wafer. Wafer snacks seem to be really popular in Indonesia and I seen them in many flavours. This one had a good cheese cream through it with a soft but crispy wafer.
Relaxa Twisha were next and these were unlike anything I had tasted before. They were fruity in the middle but minty on the outside. Very interest and very enjoyable.
Wow after these I tried the magnificent Chocolatos. These were extremely tasty with a so much chocolate. The wafer had a deep chocolate taste and the inner chocolate cream was so yum!
I then gave my mouth good exercise with Nano Nano Chewy. These were one of the chewiest sweets I have ever tasted. I had to chew hard to finish but with every chew it released so much flavour.
Kopiko was one of the most requested sweets after my last video so I decided to try them and they did not disappoint. The smell of coffee that came from one small sweet was so strong and nice. They tasted just as good. I could eat a lot more of these. If you like coffee you will love these.
I then tried another Garuda Kacang Atom but this time it was Garuda Kacang Atome Pedas (SPICY!!). They look like fireballs and taste so nice.
I then had my favourite snack of this video and they were Qtela Tempe. I love tempeh and these had so much flavour and a really unique texture. GREAT
I washed all those snacks down with Teh Botol which is a sweet but fragrant tea drink. Perfect way to end my snacks.
Let me know which snack was your favourite?
