Perikatan Nasional rejected Pejuang’s application to join the coalition as it did not want to complicate seat allocations between component parties for the upcoming six state elections.
This is according to PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
Tuan Ibrahim said that elections are close and they had discussed how accepting Pejuang would complicate the ongoing negotiations for seats.
