The Prime Minister has thanked Indonesia, especially its president Joko Widodo, for cooperating with Malaysia in handing over ‘Equanimity’ to the country. In a video posted on his Facebook page, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who’s currently on a working visit to Japan, said that Malaysia has the right to own the US$250mil luxury yacht as according to U.S. civil lawsuits filed by the Department of Justice, elusive financier Jho Low used proceeds diverted from 1MDB to procure the Equanimity. The yacht is expected to arrive in Port Klang on Tuesday afternoon.
