More than 20,000 civil servants in Selangor will receive two and a half-month salary incentive which will be paid in stages.
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the first phase of the Special Financial Assistance (BKK), amounting to one-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000, was disbursed in conjunction with Aidilfitri earlier this year.
The second payment of one-month salary or a minimum of RM1,000, involving a financial implication of RM40.03 million, will be disbursed on Dec 28 and the remaining half-month salary payment or a minimum of RM1,000 will be paid on Feb 2024 in preparation for the 2024 school session, which is expected to commence in March, he said.
