Representatives from Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd’s Workers’ Union and Executive Union submitted a memorandum to Human Resources Minister, M. Kulasegaran in Parliament on Monday. It was revealed that 190 employees of the Media Prima Bhd subsidiary which operates TV3 were given three months retrenchment notice while mutual separation schemes (MSS) were offered to 43 others.
