Come join us as we travel from Vienna to Bratislava by train (€19 total for both of us) while spontaneously meeting up with our friends Drew Binsky and Deanna Sallao. We got to spend a bit of time with them in Vienna, Austria but wanted to hang out more. Fortunately, I spotted Drew's Chicago Cubs hat on the train and we ended up having a chance to grab a beer with them quickly in Bratislava, Slovakia before they headed off to Budapest, Hungary that same day. I have a lot in common with Drew - former English teachers in South Korea, gingers, Chicago sports fans, video creators and travel addicts. Be sure to check out the videos he creates with Deanna on facebook and follow them on instagram and other platforms:

Going from Vienna to Bratislava by train was the easiest travel day of this year in Europe. A direct route that was barely over an hour long it felt more like a city commute, in terms of total time, than going to a different place. Other options in terms of getting from Vienna to Bratislava include a short bus ride and a longer more scenic river cruise. Arriving by boat would be a lot more fun but it also takes more time and costs more money. We decided to go the efficient route of taking the train and would recommend that as well. We always prefer the train over buses if it is roughly around the same price. The total ticket price came to 19 Euros for the two of us.

Vienna to Bratislava by Train + Hanging out with Drew Binsky Video Transcript:
Good morning. We are all packed up where are we off to today? Bratislava, Slovakia. Bratislava. Alright, so we're leaving Vienna behind and we're going to be taking the train. It is only one hour and it should be a lovely ride. Yeah. You know what is so cool?
I think this is the shortest ride from point A to point B that we've done in Europe all year. In a long time. It is going to be such a nice short trip. We're going to arrive fresh and ready to explore.
Okay, so we're buying our tickets. How many stops? I'm not sure how many stops. But it is just too standard tickets. Yeah, and the standard tickets are always 2.20 and you've totally just gotten in the way.
Alright guys so we got on the train. Woo! It was so awesome and we bumped into our friends Drew and Deanna. We actually felt bad because we were supposed to meetup with them in Bratislava and then we had to tell them no we don't have time and then he saw my Cubs hat on the train. I saw the Cubs hat from a distance. Coincidence. Total coincidence.
So what we're going to do is we have to go to our Airbnb to drop off our stuff and then we're going to meet up with these two again at a cafe.
Here is a question I wanted to ask you. How many countries have you been to? You are like totally like ahead of us. Yeah. I've been to a 114 countries and trying to visit every country before 2021. So that is awesome. How many is that?
I've got about 79 left. 79. And most of them in Africa? Yeah, about 52 of them. You're going to busy man. I'm going to be busy. So anyways cheers to that. Where can we find Drew?
And we can find yeah. Yeah, so I'm at Drew Binsky (@DrewBinsky) on all social media and uh facebook is where I post all of my videos. So check me out there. He's like rocking it on facebook videos.
We've had a great day. It was such a nice surprise to meet up with Drew and Deanna. They are such a nice couple. It would be cool to meet up with them again soon. And we've just been having like a great social life of late. Haha. So. We've been meeting up with so many friends. So it has been a great surprise. And yeah, we're really excited to explore Bratislava. So the adventures in Bratislava begin right now. Tata.
