Muslim preacher Wan Ji Wan Hussin succeeded in obtaining a stay of execution on his one-year jail term for making remarks that were found to be seditious against the Sultan of Selangor.
The High Court judge in Shah Alam, Justice Abdul Halim Aman, today allowed the application by Wan Ji's lawyer Mohd Radzlan Jalaluddin and he was released from the Kajang prison at about 4.30pm.
