Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim paid tribute to former health minister Chua Jui Meng saying he was an efficient minister and made many contributions in the field of health to the country.

At the wake and funeral service, Anwar also hailed Chua as a vital reformist during his time at PKR Johor.

Chua passed away on 3rd December at the age of 80 after reportedly being hospitalized following a heart attack.
