Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo has questioned why home minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has remained silent over the attack on Tamil Malar allegedly involving a group of men linked to Deputy Youth and Sports Minister M Saravanan.
According to journalist C Christ, he witnessed the daily's owner Oms Thiagarajan and legal advisor K Saraswathy being assaulted.
However, Saravanan denied that such an incident occurred.
