Youths in black gather near temple, vow not to cause trouble

A group of about 60 youths have gathered near the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple in Subang Jaya today, which had been the scene of two consecutive nights of rioting.
However, the group clad in black t-shirts said that they are not here to cause trouble.
Instead, they gathered along Jalan Usaha nearby and marched towards the temple, stopping just 50 metres from the temple and across the Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP).
“We want to show what our race is like. We came not to attack temples and places of worship, no. We came to say don’t tread (pijak) on the Malays, don’t force our hand. That is all.
