Zayn Drops Giuseppe Zanotti Campaign Video - Names Shoe After Gigi Hadid

We can finally get on our hands on, or feet in, a pair of Zayn Malik shoes. The singer just revealed the official date of his shoe wear launch- January 28th. Looking dapper as usual, Zayn also shared pics his socials promoting the collection with famed shoe designer, Guiseppe Zanotti. The two announced their collab last year, so we’ve obviously been excited about the line for quite some time, but this brand-new, in-depth look at some of the styles and at Zayn wearing the styles, let’s be honest, makes me pretty sure that these kicks were worth the wait.
Am I right? In a press release, the brand revealed 5 different styles that make up the line, along with a statement by Zayn that reads “. “I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself.”
But it’s one specific pair of shoes in the line that has everybody buzzing. A gorgeous black bootie with silver zippered details named “The Zigi,” so yes, we’re already obsessed. The name seemingly refers to Zayn and girlfriend Gigi Hadid, and is described as “a modern take on the Chelsea boot in black suede with leather details and metallic double side zips.” And word on the street is that Gigi may have already been spotted in The Zigi back in October. These two just continue to show us all the true definition of #GOALS.
Zayn shared his first selfies of 2017 on his Instagram with none other than his leading lady. Two black and white shots featuring a fresh-faced Gigi tugging on her man’s hair. My New Years resolution is to be like Zigi, for sure.
