‘No scam’: Health Ministry to improve procedures after viral post

Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah today debunked a viral message of an alleged scam in which individuals purporting to be Health Ministry officers arriving at a person's home in a ministry van on the pretext of conducting door-to-door tests.

He said the health officers were there to monitor the progress of the patient under investigation for Covid-19 at 2pm on June 14.

The ministry said that the district health office would contact members of the public before going to their houses in future.
