【本報訊】房委會完成最新一次公屋租金檢討，結果顯示公屋居民過去兩年收入增加16.11%，但按法例最多只可加租10%。消息指加租一成後，公屋戶平均每月要多付約170元租金，當中逾3成更加租201元或以上。房委會本財政年度公屋營運赤字高達15億元，消息指加租後赤字可減至6億元，但若提供一個月免租，赤字會擴大至20億元，故現階段無計劃免租。
