【本報訊】熱帶氣旋「彩虹」持續增強並移近香港，天文台昨晚8時40分發出一號戒備信號，彩虹穩定向西北偏西方向移動，並有迹象增強。按照現時預測路徑，香港今日日間天氣將會轉壞，風勢顯著增強。天文台會在今日日間考慮改發三號強風信號。海面亦會有湧浪，市民應遠離岸邊，停止水上活動。
