林冠英：若首相交棒陷入混乱则失民心难赢大选

首相马哈迪周二表明自己的去留交由希盟主席理事会决定。财长林冠英对此回应，希盟主席理事会暂没必要开会讨论马哈迪的表现。
林冠英在记者会上表示，“首相也已经提过，他会在11月之后辞职，这是在年尾，还剩不久，且让我们跟着他安排的时间表。我觉得我们应该确保它（交棒）有序运行。”
林冠英强调，如果首相交棒的问题发生混乱，那么希盟就会失去人民的信心，难以应对来届大选。希盟的当务之急是发展经济，以及确保兑现509大选的承诺。
