首相兼巫统主席纳吉12月5日在第64届巫统代表大会上，以羽毛球三局两胜的赛规来和我国的简单多数选举制度相比，捍卫国阵以不过半的总得票继续执政的合理性。政治学者黄进发就此回应表示，这样的比喻是不恰当的。
