自幼是書蟲，文理兼愛，處世感性，購物理性，恒念物力維艱，視消費為治學，置「妝」前必做科研。作為美容記者，不敢獨善其身，只想將心得與同好共賞，以科學角度探究美容知識，靚得精明有智慧。譬如尋常的化妝棉，包裝說材質親膚，憑肉眼只看到白色的一片，至於觸感，人人感覺不同，但放到光學顯微鏡下，化妝棉纖維被放大，形狀粗幼無所遁形，是好是壞有眼睇。
