The 2017 Golden Globes red carpet dazzled with a whirlpool of glitz and glamour and we have a recap of the nights best looks.
It’s no secret that red carpets double as runways and lets just say that if the Golden Globes were a collection, it would be fabulous.
Every year your favorite actors, actresses, and stars alike flock to the globes bringing us another wave of fashion euphoria and this year was no different. Star of La La Land, Emma Stone wore a dreamy star embellished nude gown that sparkled like a literal cosmic cluster. The dress was accented with a diamond necklace along with simple rings that all in all was nothing short of beautiful. And speaking of beautiful, not only in terms of clothes but also people, power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were literal goals. The glam was in full effect as Blake stunned in a black and gold masterpiece with a train, along with a pop of color compliments of her green arm candy. Not to mention, her literal arm candy Ryan Reynolds who was also beautiful.
Gina Rodriguez stepped out in a show stopping white gown with a chandelier illusion that shined like the star that she is. Her subtle make-up and quaffed waves made the dress even more of a knockout not to mention yet another train, which I love. Then our girl Lily Collins hit the carpet and shut everything down. She rocked a rose colored gown with flower and sequined accents that looked like something straight out of a story book. And as if the dress wasn’t already beautiful enough, her make-up and hair were flawless. In other words she was a modern day Cinderella. This is Us star, Mandy Moore was yet another stunner in a simple navy gown that had yet another one of my favorite fashion statements, a cape. Every red carpet needs a super hero and Mandy was clearly there to save the day. And while subtle is nice, I’m always for a pattern and Olivia Culpo brought art to the Globe carpet. Designed by Zuhair Murad the gown looked like a full on painting and deserves to be preserved in a museum. Other favorites include, Priyanka Chopra, Tracee Ellis Ross, the kids from Stranger Things, and Evan Rachel Wood who wore a tux to make the statement that women don’t have to wear gowns on red carpets to be beautiful. I love it. But I want to hear which red carpet looks were your favorite so be sure to let me know in the comment section below and then click right over here to see Jimmy Fallon open the show. Thanks for watching, I’m your host Drew Dorsey and I’ll see you next time.
