9 BEST Dressed Celebs At 2017 Cannes amfAR Gala

It’s a star-studded affair down in Cannes, France where celebs dressed to the nines in honor of the AmFar Cinema Against AIDS Gala, and we’re breaking down all the best looks.
It’s only fitting that this year’s theme for the gala was the “Golden Age of Hollywood” because the glitz and the glamour has definitely been brought.
In the midst of the Cannes Film Festival currently being held in France, some of Hollywood’s finest have traveled from all over the country to also celebrate the 24th annual AmFar Cinema Against AIDS Gala. The lavish evening, which raises money for AIDS research and education programs across the globe, has raised over $20 million to combat the disease.
To celebrate the generous contributions, the event included musical performances by Nicki Minaj, Rita Ora and Diana Ross, and a fashion show and an auction of items for the wealthy, including a chance to play soccer against David Beckham that sold for $392,000 and a 1958 Jaguar that sold for $671,000… psh, that’s just pocket change.
But on top of the fashion show, many celebs brought their fashion A-Game to the carpet. Pals Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin arrived in floor-length gowns as Bella revealed that she hoped she wouldn’t suffer a wardrobe malfunction. She left little the imagination in a sheer embellished high slit custom Ralph and Russo piece. Hailey, on the other hand, opted for a stunning deep purple velvet Ellie Saab gown.
Sofia Richie stunned in all black, showing some major skin in a sheer lace gown covering all the right places and a black feathered train followed closely behind. Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman clearly also got behind the feathered memo, wearing a stunning navy blue sequined Alberto Pizzoli, complete with sharp 80s-inspired shoulder pads and a pink belt for an extra pop of color.
Paris Hilton could be spotted miles away as she dazzled in a silver fringe embellished gown, and as she made her first red carpet debut in what seems like an eternity, Lindsay Lohan opted for a black and white old Hollywood classic gown with a deep V-neck, pearls and red lipstick.
Rita Ora’s feathered Chanel mini dress showed off her toned legs, making us all start to rethink that cheat meal we had this week, and funk electric pop group DNCE cleaned up real nice, all wearing an assortment of black and red, while still staying true to their unique individuality.
And one of my all-time faves from the gala, the evening’s performer Nicki demanded all eyes on her, arriving in a tight black Balmain gown with intricate lace detail, as well as a plunging neckline and long train.
