We’ve got all the knee-slapping and tear-jerking celebrity Super Bowl commercials right here!
There are two types of Super Bowl watchers: those that watch the game and those that watch the commercials.
Brands pull out all the stops for precious Super Bowl airtime and this year was no different, with many A List celebs up for the challenge. The cameras couldn’t look away from New England Patriots star Tom Brady during Super Bowl 51, and that included commercial breaks. The quarterback starred in an Intel ad, proving that with Intel 360 you can make anything look epic. But we don’t think Tom Brady needed help with that.
If Tom Brady saved the Patriots during the Super Bowl then Melissa McCarthy saved the planet. In her Kia Niro commercial she’s an eco-warrior called upon for some heroic adventures that don’t exactly end well.
By now you’ve probably seen Justin Bieber’s dapper T-Mobile commercial that sees the singer as a “Celebration Expert”. He traces the evolution of the touchdown dance with some moves of his own, and encourages viewers to share their own hashtag #UnlimitedMoves videos.
Actor Adam Driver made his Super Bowl debut in the first LIVE commercial for Snickers. Adam plays an actor shooting a Western film and accidentally collapses the entire set.
Honda gathered tons of celebs including Tina Fey, Steve Carell, Missy Elliot, Amy Adams and more for an inspiring talking yearbook photo ad, honoring “The Power of Dreams”.
Amid training for her halftime performance Lady Gaga had time to partner with Tiffany & Co for an ad giving a raw look inside the singer’s creative process.
Perhaps the best Super Bowl commercial this year was a clever pun on NSYNC’s song “Bye Bye Bye” song featuring Christopher Walken and Justin Timberlake himself.
And the jokes kept coming. Cam Newton and supermodel Miranda Kerr magically appeared out of nowhere for a Buick commercial.
