9 Moments We LOVE in One Direction's "You & I" Video

One Direction just released it's latest music video for You and I and right now Clevver is counting down the 9 moments we loved the most because this vid is definitely unlike anything they've ever done before. So are you ready? Okay, here we go!
At number 9, let's talk about the boys hair. I know, you're probably saying that your love of their locks is nothing new but we're loving Niall's new look with his hair brushed forward and on the flip, Harry and Louis's long hair is straight-up blowing in the wind. Zayn's got his normal cool style, and then when it comes to Liam, let's zoom in on his beard! Now that is some serious facial hair.

Let's move on to number 8 -- we are obsessed with the location of this video. Yes, it was freezing during this shoot, but there's just something so romantic about the whole look at feel of a beach pier on a dreary day...especially when 1D is involved.

At number 7 -- the snuggly style the guys are rocking. The whole look style-wise goes with the sweet vibe of the song and the more muted colors that all 5 guys are wearing make them appear cozy and cute.

Coming in at 6 is the fact that we get too see a TON of all 5 guys -- Liam, Louis, Harry, Zayn and Niall all basically get equal screen time and we love that no one else is even in the video, because at the end of the day, seeing the guys is all the direcitoners out there really care about.

Which brings us to number 5... and this. Talk about an ECU to get excited about. FYI ECU stands for extreme close-up. The uber close-up shots in the video are basically giving fans the opportunity to feel like they're looking right into the eyes of the lads themselves.

Moving on to #4 -- yes, this video is ONLY about the 5 guys of One Direction, but at one point in the video, we get double the fun, double the 1D! After all, only one thing could better than seeing Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn on the screen...and that would be seeing them TIMES TWO!

Alrightly everyone -- we've hit #3 -- which is all about the playful factor. Yes, this video is romantic and sweet but as One Direciton walks down the pier, they all have some fun. Louis kicks a purple ball into the air, Niall does a cartwheel, Liam rolls around on the ground -- and that's whey we love these guys, because they just love having fun and when you watch you can really feel that.

In the runner up position, let's rewind the opening shot of the video where we see a poster on a store front listing the shop's hours...and at the top, there's a shout-out to the video's director Ben Winston, who is a total genius and we love that the guys are showing him some love in the opening. He's responsible for other videos that we love like the hilarious Best Song Ever and the tear-jerker Story of Our Life, and we've got to give him some credit for always bringing something fresh to the table.

Which is the perfect segway to our number 1 spot and something we NEVER saw coming...and that's the wild morphing that's going down in the video. We were literally screaming as Niall was suddenly transformed into Liam, and then Liam turned into Harry, and then in the craziest change up, Harry turned to side and his hair was slowly mo-hawked until, OMG he became Zayn! And lastly we got Louis -- this was such a cool and expected twist, and it really took this video to the next level and makes it memorable. Plus, who else is digging that sweater? A sweater worn by all the guys of 1D...it's probably sold out by now!
