Dance Moms is about to be shaken up in the craziest way possible.
The popular Lifetime reality series is losing a major member of the cast and no, it’s not one of the adorable little dancers on the show.
Abby Lee Miller literally dropped a bomb on us all in the middle of the night when she revealed that she will no longer be a part of Dance Moms. The star of the Lifetime reality series posted her goodbye letter late Sunday night on Instagram.
In a lengthy statement, she revealed the reason why she was quitting by writing QUOTE, “The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement: I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS. FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL! TODAY, I WAS SO PROUD THAT I WENT AGAINS THE PRODUCER’S IDEA (ONCE AGAIN) TO ENTER A COMMAND PERFORMNACE OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE NUMBERS… ‘WHERE HAVE ALL THE CHILDREN GONE?’ ALONG WITH THREE BEAUTIFUL SOLOS! I don’t have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people’s children successful! I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!”
Honestly, what’s Dance Moms without Abby Lee Miller? She is the owner of ALDC after all.
Anyway, while there’s no confirmation if the show is ending since Abby Lee is quitting, Kendall Vertes posted a picture on Instagram a couple weeks ago with the caption ‘This may be our last pyramid at the ALDC’ which, after finding out this news, kinda hints that the show could be in its final season.
