Chloe, on the other hand, felt slightly different about the whole experience, saying that she was grateful for it, QUOTE ”because I'm a huge believer that everything happens for a reason. So, I think I was meant to have that good and bad experience, and learn and grow from it. It definitely gave me thick skin, which is crucial for this industry”
Christi also added that she wasn’t at all surprised by the 366 day prison sentence Abby received for bankruptcy fraud, saying cryptically she’s known Abby for a very long time. She was also mentioning the mac and cheese that Abby ate on the way prison, when Chloe interjected and pointed out that she didn’t watch that since she QUOTE “didn’t want to give her the ratings”.
The mom and daughter also dished a little on what’s to come in the new season, with Chloe describing it as different and lighthearted and Christ saying it’s a real “ coming home”.
Chloe emphasized that the new season was a lot more lighthearted and driven towards dance which is what the show is supposed to be about. The dancer’s mom chimed in, however, reassuring viewers that the show won’t be just happiness and dancing, saying QUOTE “People love to see the dancing, but the drama will always still be there between, not just the kids, but the moms, too.
