Solicitor-general Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh has been appointed attorney-general (AG) effective Sept 6.

Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali said the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has consented to the appointment of Ahmad Terrirudin as AG. in accordance with Clause (1) Article 145 of the Federal Constitution.

He added that Ahmad Terrirudin will be replacing Idrus Harun whose contract expires on September 5.
