[KiniNews] PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has expressed concern over the government’s move to block certain media recently.

“Starting with the MalaysiaNow website and more recently TV Pertiwi, I see the Pakatan Harapan-BN government getting more and more desperate and worried about the wave of acceptance from the people towards Perikatan Nasional," said Tuan Ibrahim.

He added that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim should fulfil his pledge to defend freedom of speech and press as promised in the Harapan manifesto.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, the government has announced that solicitor-general Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh has been appointed attorney-general (AG) effective September 6.

He will be replacing Idrus Harun whose contract expires on September 5.
