Amanda Bynes has found herself in some hot water again! It has just been revealed that this weekend Amanda was ARRESTED for a DUI! Just when we all thought the actress was making great strides after a number of legal troubles and mental health issues, TMZ is reporting that Amanda was arrested for driving under the influence of marihuana on Sunday September 28.
She was apparently pulled over by the California Highway Patrol after randomly stopping in the middle of an intersection on Van Nyus Boulevard, and taken into a nearby police department where it was determined she was on drugs and was booked for a DUI at about 4:10 AM. She was released on $15,000 bail at about noon that same day.
No word yet on how this will affect her other legal issues- and in case you’ve forgotten I’m referring to her LAST DUI arrest, her involvement with a hit and run, and being caught driving with a suspended license. She’s currently on probation for a “wet and reckless” conviction from last February.
This does NOT bode well for the fallen Nickelodeon star. Amanda had been living with her parents after receiving treatment for addiction issues. And had even been attending L.A.’s famed FIDM school with hopes of launching her own fashion line. However, TMZ reports that she recently moved into an Orange County apartment by herself and had begun picking up her old habits of constant weed smoking.
