After over ten years of being together and six kids later, Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.
The happy fairytale known as Brangelina is sadly coming to an end and it’s not because another woman came between Brad and Angie.
Although the Inquisitor reported that Brad and Angelina were splitting because of his alleged affair with Marion Cotillard, TMZ reports that that rumor could not be further from the truth. According to TMZ, insiders close to the couple revealed that Angelina’s decision to file for divorce has nothing to do with infidelity and everything to do with Brad’s parenting style.
But, Brad’s parenting methods weren’t the only things that pushed Angelina over the edge. The source also revealed that Angelina felt that her husband’s reported usage of weed and consumption of alcohol, mixed with QUOTE “an anger problem” made him dangerous for the children to be around.
The actress filed the legal documents on Monday and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. In the divorce docs, Angelina listed their date of separation as September 15th and is asking for physical custody of their six children. She is also asking the judge to grant Brad visitation rights, but makes it very clear that she does not want Brad to have joint physical custody, only joint legal custody. On top of all of that, Angelina is not asking for spousal support.
