Law and Institutional Reform Minister Azalina Othman Said praised Anwar Ibrahim as a “gentleman” during his tenure as the opposition leader, especially when Umno’s Ismail Sabri Yaakob succeeded Muhyiddin as Prime Minister.

Azalina noted that Anwar had committed to accepting the Agong’s decision while also vowing to contest it in the election.
