PAS leaders urged any individual, including among federal government ministers to apologize openly to the party for defaming the party to receive funds from 1MDB.
The claim was made following the disclosure of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on 41 parties receiving 1MDB funds yesterday.
The MACC filed an application to court in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act, Prevention of Terrorism Financing and Illegal Activities Revenue 2001 (Amla) to recover 1MDB related moneys amounting to RM270 million from 41 individuals and entities.
It is the largest forfeiture suit in the history of the country.
MACC Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya said the money was distributed to the recipient from personal account of former Prime Minister Najib Razak through AmBank.
A total of 41 forfeiture summonses have been filed and the MACC has so far been granted four dates for the case being heard separately - June 25, July 10, July 24 and July 31.
Revisions in court records show case management for 10 summonses set on June 25 in front of judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan.
Mastura Malak met few of PAS leaders to get their responses.
