Looks like Jariana is, sadly, off again. Yes, there are new reports swirling that Ariana Grande has split with the Janoskians star Jai Brooks for a second time, and Clevver is breaking down all the details for you.
Ariana fans and supporters likely know that the singer’s grandfather passed away last month, and some believe it was Jai’s lack of support during that difficult time that triggered the break up. Ariana took to Twitter to share her feelings and while she didn’t mention her Janoskians love by name, we think it’s pretty easy to deduce who she’s talking about in this situation. In fact, sources say that her split with Jai inspired her to send this out:
"July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered. I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart. I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good. I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart."
From what we hear, it’s said that Ariana and Jai have remained friends since going their separate ways, so maybe there’s still hope for them in the future? These two dated from August 2012 to July of last year, then reconciled in May. But August is going to be a huge month for Ariana who’s set to release her sophomore album, and with the recent loss of her grandfather, she’s probably focused solely on her family and her new music.
However, even with everything on her plate right now, Ariana was able to make some time for a movie date with one of her fave collaborators, Big Sean. The two were seen leaving the movie theater at L.A. hot spot The Grove on Sunday night, which obviously is sparking some romance rumors. But if we had to guess, we’d say they’re probably just hanging out as friends. In fact, Ariana has even gone on the record to call him one of her best friends. But if we’re being real, they would be the best power couple ever!
