It’s a sad day for one of our favorite celebrity couples — Ariana Grande and Big Sean have officially called it quits.
Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed is brought to you by the new movie The Age of Adaline - in theaters Friday!
Yes — we hate to be the bearers of bad news, but US Weekly has confirmed that power couple Big Grande has gone their separate ways after just eight months of dating. Reps for both stars released a statement reading:
“They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."
This news sort of comes out of the blue, but it makes sense with how busy these two are. Ariana is in the midst of her Honeymoon tour, while Big Sean is just as busy with his own tour as well.
Apparently, the two quietly split a few weeks ago, and it was totally amicable. Looking back at Big Sean’s Twitter, he sent out a somewhat cryptic tweet on April 4th saying:
"Just know I love u and I care for ya."
Maybe there’s hope for them? After all, this split does seem strictly work related. And there’s no drama going on — yet, anyways. And the only reason we say that is because there was drama regarding both of their last splits — Ariana with Youtuber Jai Brooks, and Big Sean with Naya Rivera.
