Ariana Grande's Ex Jai Brooks CALLS OUT Selena Gomez's DACA Instagram Post

Selena Gomez took to her Instagram to share a screen shot of a note written on her phone regarding President Trump’s decision to reverse the DACA initiative that was put into place during President Obama’s term. DACA provided children who were brought to the US illegally with a 2 year ‘grace period’ where they could not be legally deported, and instead could get a work permit, allowing them to work in the States legally. To this date, around 800,000 children, or ‘dreamers’ as the program referred t them, had enrolled in the program.
So obviously there are many people who have a serious issue with Trump’s decision to reverse the program. But when Selena Gomez shared her take on the matter, nobody was expecting the response she got from a certain Janoskian.
Selena’s note read QUOTE "My definition of dreamer is someone that thinks big and believe anything is possible. The wonderful people being threatened by the unfortunate reversal of DACA are exactly that. Please call The White House, your local member of Congress and state Senators to let your voice be heard to defend DACA!”
Now, for some reason unbeknownst to us, Jai Brooks- yeah, Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend Jai Brooks- had a serious problem with Selena’s post. And he wasn’t prepared to hold his tongue.
His far-from-subtle move was to comment right on Sel’s insta, and it wasn’t cute. Jai wrote QUOTE “"You honestly don't give a sh-t about the people related to DACA you're just a Hollywood pretending to give a sh-t because it seems right. go home princess."
But, like… why though?
The internet was obviously asking the same things, and naturally, the Selenators were not having it. One user wrote “and you're an untalented & irrelevant rat who's only seeking for attention. what have you even done? @JaiBrooks1 #JaiBrooksIsOverParty “
Still, Mr. Brooks was not backing down, even posting a picure on his own Instagram with a caption that is obviously in response to the backlash.
"Hahahahahaha there's honestly nothing more I could love than when I speak the truth and people argue against it because they have no facts and/or are honestly too stupid to know what goes on in their world," he wrote. "I read their dumb comment and laugh honestly if you comment I'm just laughing so I appreciate the good time you guys honestly made my day I havnt smiled like this in a while
So, really, it doesn’t look like he’s too bothered. Now, this could all possibly be because of Selena’s usual ‘hush hush’ approach to social issues and politics, and the pop superstar has received a lot of backlash in the past, but regardless, anything that goes up on Selena’s Instagram will be viewed by a LOT of people, so shouldn’t Jai be happy about that?
