Ariana Grande admitted she felt anxious about returning to England for the first time since the Manchester tribute concert
She said she’s just trying to get through it
It’s been an intense week for Ariana Grande. Just a few days after she was groped by a Bishop at Aretha Franklin’s funeral, the singer left America to visit the U.K. for the very first time since her Manchester benefit concert back in June of 2017.
It was no doubt a tough trip for Ari, considering the traumatic event that occurred there last year. She admitted in an interview with British Vogue back in July that she’s suffered from PTSD ever since that night.
She told the magazine QUOTE “It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, [PTSD] is a real thing. I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.”

The pop star has also been candid about her struggles with anxiety. She said in the interview QUOTE “My anxiety has anxiety. I've always had anxiety. I've never really spoken about it because I thought everyone had it, but when I got home from tour it was the most severe I think it's ever been.”
And it seems like Ariana is still dealing with that struggle. When a fan on Twitter asked why there were no pictures of Ari in London, the singer wrote QUOTE “sry i’m really really anxious and really exhausted and jus trying to get thru the trip. hope that’s ok. hope you enjoy the performances. my priority is giving u the best performances i’m capable of. i don’t really care ab having my picture taken. love u.”
Ariana also admitted that it’s been tough to fully enjoy her time back in the U.K. She tweeted QUOTE “i’m like really trying. it’s jus been a while since i’ve done this or been this far away from home. this was a huge test. so far not so great hehe. but i’ve loved singing for u and seeing ur faces. that part has been nice. thanks for understanding n for loving me.”

But even with her anxiety, Ari still expressed gratitude for all her fans’ support. She wrote QUOTE “o woah london that was so special. i love u more than words can express. thank u for everything i’m so grateful and also fully sleeping. u are everything. sweet dreams.”
We can’t imagine what Ariana was going through being back in England after all those painful memories, but one thing is for sure: She is one strong woman.
