Both Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber have kept quiet on unfollow-gate when it happened, but now Ari is setting the record straight on the all the drama surrounding the social media mishap.
So much drama went down when fans found out Ariana unfollowed Justin, but her recent explanation about the situation isn’t really sitting well with Beliebers or Arianators.
During her trip across the pond, Ariana was asked about supposedly unfollowing Justin on both Twitter and Instagram and she basically revealed that there’s nothing going on between the two of them. The ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer told Britain’s KISS FM QUOTE, “There’s nothing to report. We haven’t spoken in months. He’s a great guy. He’s a great artist. We have a nice friendship. There’s nothing going on.” While Ari did her best to try and end any rumors of bad blood between her and the Biebs, the Twitter questions didn’t end there.
At another interview with Capitol FM, Ariana was asked yet again about unfollow-gate and the songstress revealed that she had no idea she unfollowed Justin until her fans started pointing it out.
It sounds like Ariana is clueless as to why or how that even happened, but fans aren’t really buying that story at all because the timing of it all just felt really fishy. Especially since the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer recently parted ways with Scooter Braun as her manager. But, maybe it’s time to give up all the conspiracy theories because Ariana and Justin are following each other again and all is right in the world…right?
