Following their split, Ariana Grande is now shutting down rumors that Pete Davidson is begging for her back.
That’s right, you guys. Ariana and Pete are just trying to heal.
As we all know, breakups can be extremely difficult, especially when you’re a celebrity. Not only do stars have to go through all of the emotions associated with a split, but they also have to see false rumors pop up in the news constantly, which can get exhausting for obvious reasons.
That being said RadarOnline reported yesterday that Ariana Grande quote-unquote “blocked” Pete Davidson after he begged to get her back with him. As soon as Ari saw the report, though, she was quick to shut it down.
In Radar‘s original article, their sources claimed that Ariana told her former fiancé to, QUOTE, “straight up leave her alone” and that he, QUOTE, “tried contacting her and sending her gifts in hopes that she will change her mind and take him back.”
The rumors didn’t end there, though! The gossip site also alleged that the pop star kicked the SNL comedian out of her New York City apartment and even changed the locks in order to keep him out!
If you’re reading this and you’re thinking that this simply doesn’t sound like the Ariana you know and love, you’re absolutely right, and yesterday she took to Twitter to shut down these ridiculous rumors, dragging the outlet for making stuff up — especially during this extremely difficult time when they’re BOTH trying to heal from their breakup.
In response to the rumors, Ariana tweeted, QUOTE, “None of this is true. it’d be so helpful if the media and everybody would please just drop it and drop makin stuff up so we can heal and support one another moving forward. it sucks to see this stuff. thank u guys for understanding. much love and appreciation.”
Well, there you have it, folks! Not only is Pete NOT begging for his ex to take him back, but Ari also never told him to leave her alone. And the locks to her place? She never even changed ’em!
