OKAY, FIRST OFF I want to highlight that J-lo pointed out that Ari has had her first single from all THREE of her albums make the Billboard top ten saying that NO ONE else has previously managed to do so. It’s safe to say with that introduction, Ari has already won at life. Moving along to the performance itself, Singing what started as stripped down rendition of her hit ‘Focus’ there was nothing else we could manage to do seeing that it was the global television debut of her new song!
Ari started by keeping the performance simple and sexy but right after an audience member stripped the glove off of Ari’s hand with only her teeth, the performance quickly turned into full on production, with tons of sass involved. That AND it also totally reminded us of the ‘Focus’ music video itself!
Well of course, we HAVE to point out how flawless she looks… Like seriously Insane… Rocking a super-hot tiny mini dress, Ari decided to ditch the signature ponytail, but don’t worry, we still got some serious left-side-face action AND of course she showcased that BEAUIFUL voice… It’s actually insane… And I’d like to ask you to try… JUST try to name 3 other pop stars that can hit a note like Ari… Trick question, because you can’t!!!
I also love that Camila Cabello served as tonight’s Taylor Swift, seeing that she couldn’t be at the show, Camila was dancing and singing along with every artist that hit the stage and I think Taylor would be proud…
LUVS IT! Ohh and I think it’s safe to say Nicki Manaj was not “Feelin’ Herself.”
But that’s okay, because we totally were!!!
ANYWAYS… While losing out to One Direction for Artist of the year, we are going to say that was only because they are going on a break and really needed… but Ariana DID WIN favorite Female artist and obviously you can tell why after tonight’s show.
I think it’s safe to say she CRUSHED her performance of ‘Focus’ but I’m curious to know what all of you thought about it… so RIGHT now is the time to weigh in on all the action.
