Justin Bieber performs a rainy medley of his big hits at the 2015 American Music Awards! Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed’s Trophy Life is brought to you by T-Mobile, Breaking the rules of wireless – Switch to the Un-carrier.
Justin closed the AMAs with an acoustic, dance heavy, and wet performance.
JB started off soft singing an acoustic version of “What Do You Mean” dressed down in a hoodie and baseball hat- take a look.
Soon after that, Justin broke out into his EDM heavy track “Where R U Now?” and sounded phenomenal singing live. Oh! But then a perfectly executed mic drop before his usual dance break. The rave laser beams were in full effect as he jumped around the stage with a slew of backup dancers. And it got even better. The medley ended with his latest single off “Purpose”- which of course is “Sorry”. An illusion of digital rain poured down from the ceiling onto the stage. And for some extra drama- cue the REAL RAIN. It poured onto Justin as he splashed across the stage. Is anyone else getting some heavy “Waterfalls” or “Umbrella” flashbacks here? Maybe Ariana Grande was, cause the camera cutaway to Justin’s pal Ari and she was totally grooving to the performance. The song ended with an emotional Justin taking his hat off- and was he crying? With all the water in the mix we really couldn’t tell. But he DID try to say something into the microphone but host Jennifer Lopez cut him off to end the show. I guess we’ll never know. Congrats are also in order for Justin who won Best Collab for his track Where R U now with Skrillex and Diplo. So now it’s your turn—- the big question what do YOU think Justin wanted to say to the audience after his performance at the AMAs? Tell us by leaving a comment!
