Justin Bieber To Blame For Selena Gomez's AMAs Performance?

Selena made her big return to the American Music Awards last night after a tumultuous year where she performed her latest hit, “Wolves.” The production was very impressive, there was a whole scene onstage that made it look like we were in the woods and Selena had just been hit by a car, there was blood on her face, and the dancers were legit wolves. It was great. But then following the performance, the camera zoomed in on Selena’s face and she didn’t exactly look happy.
Fans have a few theories as to what could have happened to make Selena appear so sad. First of all, many people believe she was lip synching throughout the performance.
So if she was, maybe she didn’t feel that she executed it well? Others think it was because Justin Bieber wasn’t in attendance or the fact that he liked and then unliked one of her instagram photos where she debuted her blonde hair. In response to the liking and unliking, one fan tweeted – “their whole relationship in a nutshell.” According to a source, Justin attended a concert with Jaden Smith last night instead of attending the AMAs, but before you pass judgments, take into account that Justin and Selena probably had a conversation about whether or not they should make their couple debut on the same night as her big performance and he probably didn’t want their relationship to overshadow how big of a night it was for Selena. Another theory about why Selena looked sad is the rumor going around that she had a panic atrack righ before the show. A fan tweeted QUOTE – “There was a rumor that Selena had a panic attack during her performance, we don't know how true this is but could be why she looked sad throughout .but no matter what we are grateful for everything she has done and #WeAreProudOfSelena” Another said – “The fact that Selena had a panic attack before going on stage and then actually performing is both heartbreaking but shows just how strong she really is @selenagomez I love you so much baby.”
However regardless of the face she made following her performance, Selena seemed in great spirits on Twitter writing QUOTE - "Thank you guys! We did it! Thank you to my best friend Petra [Collins] for helping me bring it to life," she said. She added the caption, "grateful grateful grateful."
So who knows what caused the face. Maybe she was just emotional or still in character. Others are saying that it may have had something to do with her finally unfollowing The Weeknd which he followed suit with shortly after, but whatever happened, I just hope she’s ok. At the end of the day, it was great to see her return.
