Selena Gomez goes all Banksy on us to tease her upcoming AMAs performance!
SelGo will perform “Wolves” for the very first time at the American Music Awards.
If you recall, last year’s AMAs was a huge moment for Selena. She make her triumphant return to the spotlight after taking time off to seek treatment for mental health issues. Selena not only dominated the red carpet, but gave a touching speech during the show. This year, Selena is returning to the show for ANOTHER major moment. Selena will make her comeback to the stage following her life-threatening kidney transplant to perform her Marshmello collab “Wolves” for the very first time.
To tease the performance Selena tweeted out a mural street art installation that you can visit IRL if you live near Los Angeles, California. Trust us, it’s totally Insta-worthy.
The mural was created by artist known as ‘The Most Famous Artist” and as you saw the art features a pink moon with the song lyrics, “I’ve been running through the jungle I’ve been crying with the wolves to get to you”. Selena captioned the time lapse video, “LA! Check out the Wolves Wall on Sunset & Stanley, now through the @AMAs on November 19th. Tag your photos of the mural with #SELENAxAMAs!”
So does this mean there will be live art happening during her performance? Will Selena be body-painted? We’ll find out what this mural art means when her comeback performance happens live during the AMAs on November 19th. While we patiently wait, tell us below what you think this mural means for the performance? After that check out Selena performing “Wolves” acoustic right here. As always I’m your host Jackie Iadonisi, thanks so much for tuning in.
