Selena is back stronger than ever after her surgery and ready to take that stage come Sunday.
Yesterday, Selena posted a teaser video of her singing her single “Wolves” on instagram which she is slated to perform this weekend at the American Music Awards.
For the caption Selena wrote QUOTE – “My first performance in over a year.. the AMAs have been a place where I’ve shared some of my most intimate moments. Heart wants what it wants, after treatment and now Wolves. This Sunday.”
As she mentioned, the AMAs have always been held in a special place in Selena’s heart due to the fact that it has marked some pivotal moments in her life and career. Back in 2014, she made her debut at the award show with an emotional performance of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” that was undoubtedly about her on again off again relationship with Justin Bieber. Then last year the AMA’s were where she made her first public appearance following her 90 day stint in rehab for depression and anxiety. And now this year she is back after a successful kidney surgery earlier this summer, she went through a public breakup with the Weeknd and now is coming full circle by reuniting with her first love Justin Bieber once again. No word yet on whether or not he will be in attendance but either way, I think Sunday is going to be one heck of a show. What do you guys think about Selena returning to the AMAs stage?
